I've never understood the taboo of putting pineapple on pizza, nor the Italian purity spiral about it.
Unless I'm mistaken, pineapple on pizza originated in Canada, where they called it a Hawaiian pizza -- ham or bacan, cheese, pineapple. I grew up in Canada and loved eating the Hawaiian. The combination of sweet and salty just hits the right taste buds.
Anyway, in my opinion, Hawaiian pizza ranks among the good things to come out of Canada (not that I count on much more good ever coming out of Canada).
i don’t understand it either. i have the exact same experience wrt taste bud stimulation. when we do it, we use some leftover chicken breast (in thin strips) in addition to the bacon and pineapple and cheese. highly recommend. also had no idea the original one came from Canada.
For baptism by smoke only unfiltered spirits will do.
this is the second or third time that you took one of my bits and made it better. thank you and well done!
You're welcome, and thank you for all the word play opportunities, I'm impressed by how often you do it.
"satan plots, God improvises"
Brilliant.
