Only after getting a girlfriend for the first time—someone with whom I can share my deepest secrets and feelings—did I finally understand what Goethe meant.
This semester’s wrapping up, and I’m hoping to start an art Twitter again in the summer. After making some life adjustments, I now have more time to improve my drawing. I have lofty goals and sometimes I make the mistake of focusing on the end result instead of enjoying the journey, which kills motivation. But I’m trying. Life is good. How is yours?
as for projects, my people have a saying: the perfect is the enemy of the good. and i agree, it's better to get things done, you can always come back and revise, rework, etc. things sometimes gain by a period of waiting. Jesus didn't resurrect right away, he set it aside and got busy with other things and then got back to the main project.
my life is a little messy, but good. i'm hoping some stability will come our way in the coming months. it has at least been one of the most creative periods of my life, and i like that.
