wei wu wei is the method and achievement of final participation, though in the west it is often mistaken for the original kind. we say 'in the zone' to describe it whereas the old chinese talk about movement outside the zone.  of course it's both, but interesting dicotomy. the important thing is that it is not something made, but tuned into.







hard to say if the enochian/hermetic tradition appears earlier in china or the west, but it definitely survived more intact in china and the far east. in the west there is a lot of added nonsense and irrelevant complication, and a certain tendency for overdoing it, across the centuries. and this has nothing to do with the ability to fix knowledge, since china invented paper four thousand years before the west, and the printing press three thousand years before.
