eternal life is worth dying for
about the blackout: i have no power (pun!) over it, so i don't waste energy (pun!) thinking about it
the book writes itself with my blood for ink
you cannot ride the liger
i'm into mind altering essences
i don't want AI powered, i want human weakened
to air is human, to breathe is divine
a singular god, not a single one
did Jesus ever claim to be God? it depends on what you mean by god. Jesus never claimed to be the single beyond being abstract origin of everything. but he did claim divine lineage.
the blackout lasted ten hours, but time did not really slow down. i wonder how long it would have to be for it to be noticeable. a week maybe.
i don't write fantasy. the only fantastical elements are those found in real life. like in the bible and such.
Jesus' life and philosophy teach the same, and it's that there is no divine inspiration without divine expiration
from true vine to true wine
even the divine takes time
and it's by design
before Phantasia, the closest i've come to finishing a novel was a satire about atheists making a revolution to abolish religion and nothing really changing. the main character was a priest/secret agent of the Vatican. twenty years ago. seems so quaint for how dark things are now. there are satirical elements in all my writing, but i don't think i could write a full novel of satire anymore (well, i also couldn't finish the one before either, so maybe even twenty years ago it wasn't possible either). but now it's for sure, the world is too screwed up, upside down.
the earth will be renewed and it will receive its paradisaical glory. so only Adams and Eves are invited. and together.
dead flesh feeds the plant that gives the seed to make the bread
myths are either true, or it's possible for a lie to enlighten us about what's real. to me, the second is more absurd.
a perennial temptation of every religion, philosophy, etc, is to say that whatever its object, it is of a different category than similar objects. this distinction is arbitrary, and unnecessary, and a cheat. 'i'm not like other girls', but for ideas.
santa claus is certainly more real than the average postman. and Aragorn is way, way, way more real than king Charles
i'm a pagan to some christians, and a christian to some pagans, and a christian to some christians and a pagan to some pagans. they're right about everything except this.
don't hide from the strangeness of reality. especially if you're playing hide and seek, and it's the strangeness seeking you.
the plants and the animals and the rocks and the rivers and everything else still speaks the holy tongue. they did not build the tower, and were against it from the start. they have no curse. and they understand us if we speak to them.
what i am is for me to do and others to say
there is a lot to be gained by recovering the original word Godspell, instead of the common limp version that lost the d. have you read the godspells. goes so much harder. and that's important.
take everything with a grain of salt. tastes better.
i'm unfairly certain about some things
before the earth we learn to be, on the earth we learn to become, and afterward we learn to do both at will.
no one can hold all the answers. some are found only in letting go
every being is a world where other beings struggle with life and death. an endless panentheistic chain. maybe we live within a god's heart.
many things are pregnant with meaning, looking for a midwife
every end is forever
i don't have a dog in any fight, but in some i have a cock
you are sympathetic if you have sympathy, you are empathetic if you have empathy, you are pathetic if you have, huh, pathy. hey pathy, how's your brother pathos. he's a pain yeah.
i wonder if Jared Taylor is hiding the whimsy he grew up with in japan because of the sense of modesty he grew up with in japan
what is the world coming to
what is the world going for
i will never worship anyone who needs appeasement
great man theory, great woman practice
it's funny to me how 'God was a mortal man' is totally ok to conventional christians if you mean the Son, but if you mean the Father (who is also the same... something... as the Son), it's unimaginable and the worst offense possible. once i got rid of this kind of thinking, and followed logic rather than fake mystery, it untied knots in me i didn't know were there. logic opens whimsy.
AsHera, YahZeus
whittling. some arts require letting things grow beyond the point they are useful, and then scaling them back. normally, say in building, you work and then when it's finished you rest. here you rest and then you work. and it has to be this way. i feel this insight has many many ramifications (pun), but i don't see them all yet. need to whittle more.
global warning, climate charge, self helplessness
crime prediction tech? you mean eyes?
first time i spoke to my wife she was waiting for her brother, my friend, after class, and holding his guitar. i asked if i could borrow it for a minute and she just flat said no. love at first slight.
you will die to see beauty beyond human comprehension
there is a point after which it becomes meaningless, and impossible, to distinguish between lack of intelligence, incompetence and evil. and it all seems to coalesce in so called AI. it coalesces in other stuff too i guess but we better not talk about it
the solanum family seems to be the one where cultivating your own makes the most difference. i'm sure it's related to the growth of individuality. but can't say more at this time. anyway, homegrown taters or matoes (or tobacco) can't compare even to organic grown that you buy. soulbody stuff
plants do not like noise
my wife just told me that handling soil makes your fingerprints more defined. there's some lore in my first book about fingerprints that fits this. but anyway, gardening makes you more human.
i don't care for hot takes. i prefer hot gifts
mother nature, daughter nature, wife nature, girlfriend nature, girl on the bus stop nature

have to quote this one from my friend Sean, as with one stroke he defeated a thousand enemies that stood for thousands of years:
Theophobia, n. The beginning of knowledge.

“the plants and the animals and the rocks and the rivers and everything else still speaks the holy tongue. they did not build the tower, and were against it from the start. they have no curse. and they understand us if we speak to them.
Would love to hear your story on the life-saving icon :)
And this one might be best of all—
“the plants and the animals and the rocks and the rivers and everything else still speaks the holy tongue. they did not build the tower, and were against it from the start. they have no curse. and they understand us if we speak to them.
