* authorship is shaping existing beings into a format in which they can live and breathe rather than creating them from nothing. take this as writing advice, or metaphysical speculation. it's both. the trouble began when they dropped the definite article. since then, it is impossible to make sense of what anointment means. you can't surprise God. not with that attitude anyway. i don't think about the roman empire all that often, but i do think daily about neanderthal settlements. 'art technique' is yet another redundant expression if you work hard enough you will still die very few have the stain of original sine qua non, unfortunately. sometimes i think in color, but it's just a pigment of my imagination there's no neutral anymore, and good is no longer lawful, so chaotic good is what we must be. i used to think that any kind of belief that would expand our gaze beyond this life was good, or at least preferrable to atheism, but it really depends on what kind of afterlife. most seem to breed the same contempt for life as atheism. much like soldiers in war are allowed to kill, artists get a pass on regular morality. not unlimited, and not without its consequences. but artists have their own kind of war. do not be too careful when sowing seeds. that way only the ones who really want to be born will do so. this applies to everything. envy is a man, but he disguises himself as a woman. the fear of God is the same as that of every good parent, that his children go astray. am i like it cause i like it or do i like it cause i'm like it? when i die i will donate my science to body i'm not proud of my sloth, cause pride is too much work
