I agree, it is a compelling iconic portrait. The eyes are particularly captivating, reflecting an intelligence which has pierced the veil, while retaining a quiet integrity and simple goodness.

The eyes in your drawing are very compelling. Sort of like a vacuum cleaner sucking my eyes to the center, if you'll forgive the metaphor.

I would enjoy hearing more about how "Mormon theology freed [you] to act".

thank you. it would be too personal to share specifics, but the other article on mormonism may give some idea. i take ideas seriously and classical theology was paralyzing because it provides no positive reason for this life. mormon theology does. hence i was freed to act.
