Your Mormon piece may not necessarily be your "best" work, but it's probably the most impactful, in that it's able to actually make the reader take Mormonism seriously when that was previously not even a live possibility. It's a rare piece that can make that happen.
Also, picking up and reading your novels in physical form is on my agenda for this year.
i never thought it would be as impactful as it seems to be. i’m glad this is the case of course. it’s just i no longer like the style in which it is written.
In my case, i didn't even read your Mormon post until i'd been sampling your aphorism collections for a while via Charlton. But then, i'd already gotten worked over a good bit by him and WJT, so being nicer to Mormon ideas wasn't strange to me by then.
I will say that it was mostly you who made me not-hate women again, so cheers on that one.
Women do a lot of strange, frustrating and nonsensical things which have rarely been explained clearly to men of my cohort, much less explained with anything like real grace (as opposed to the fake, manipulative, demonic "compassion" which is frequent in this age). When i first began to see these antics clearly, my experience was that of contempt and anger. Only later was this anger cooled by understanding of the modern woman's hurt and confusion, and it took your more visceral and human angle to tie it all together.
i find a woman's strangeness more appealing than men's non strangeness tbqh. that's the appeal. because it's not like me. but anyway, i'm glad i contributed in some way.

i'm glad, but how can anyone hate God's final masterpiece?
